Texas Trap and Skeet (TXTS) is a student-run "sport club" at the University of Texas at Austin. TXTS operates under the Division of Recreational Sports, a sub-division of Student Affairs. Our mission is to educate, support, and bring together both casual and competitive shotgun athletes. Through careful instruction and steady coaching, we produce safe and successful shooters. Our traveling team competes at the local, state, and national levels, consistently achieving high scores (and placing) across six shotgun disciplines (American Trap, American Skeet, Doubles Trap, Doubles Skeet, Sporting Clays, and Super Sporting Clays).
We are a diverse yet cohesive group of students who give it our all both in the classroom and on the field.
We encourage Longhorns of all skill levels (including complete novices) to come out, see us at practice, and join in on the fun.

TXTS meets every Friday of the school year at Capital City Clays.
We also hold unofficial, impromptu practices with regard to individual schedules and goals. |
